Charles Aznavour began his recording career in the early 1950s having already found success as a songwriter for Edith Piaf. In 1956 Aznavour recorded six of his French hits in English for an EP release entitled 'Aznavour Invades'. These recordings are his debut English language songs, recorded nearly twenty years prior to his chart topping success 'She'. These rare English recordings make their CD debut here. 2009 marks Aznavour's 85th birthday and this release celebrates his early recording career.
