Betty Driver 1935 - 1955. The exclusive digital
collection features all Betty's commercial recordings
along with a selection of Bonus Tracks from Betty's
films and select radio broadcasts.
Betty
Driver began her recording career at the age of 14,
releasing her first record Jubilee Baby in 1935
on the Regal Zonophone label. Betty would continue to
issue records for both Regal Zonophone and the HMV
labels between 1935 - 1949. Betty issued her last record
in 1954 on the small Planet label, Let's Gather Round
The Parlour Piano and I Know You're Mine make
their digital debut on this collection.
For
the first time, all of Betty Driver's recordings have
been compiled on one collection, celebrating her
illustrious music career. As a special bonus, the
collection also features songs performed in Betty's
films Penny Paradise and Let's Be Famous
plus extremely rare recordings from various radio
broadcasts.
